Expeditions

More than 900 lessons in VR and AR. Starting June 30, 2021, Google Expeditions and Tour Creator will no longer be accessible. They are migrating- the majority of them -to Google Arts & Culture's free site and application.

What is Google Expedition?

Google Expeditions enables teachers to bring students on virtual trips to places like museums, underwater, and outer space. Expeditions are collections of linked virtual reality (VR) content and supporting materials that can be used alongside existing curriculum.

These trips are collections of virtual reality panoramas — 360° panoramas and 3D images — annotated with details, points of interest, and questions that make them easy to integrate into curriculum already used in schools.

With over 800 Expeditions currently available, the content touches on a wide range of subjects including historical landmarks, natural wonders, college campuses, careers and more.

What Is Expeditions Pro?

Expeditions Pro will take off from where Google Expeditions ends. The same great features you are used to – Classroom content, working offline, instant annotation and simple touch interface that worked so well. Plus we’ll be adding a number of great new features education have been asking for since the Google Expeditions app first was launched back in 2015, such as Video Playback and playlist creation.

Expeditions Pro

Expeditions Pro has the same great drag and drop functionality of the Google Tour Creator service, hosted online and accessible from any browser. We will have the ability to add local 360 panoramas, 4k 360° video, still images, hotspots, audio files and much, much, more. Not only that but our system will be able to import your Google Tour Creator content directly from your Google account, meaning your user created content is safe with us.

We are the only Authorized Reseller of RedboxVR, an Official Google Expedition Kit Partner in Romania.

Built for the classroom and small group use (8 to 30 students and more), Google Expeditions allows a teacher acting as a “guide” to lead classroom-sized groups of “explorers” through collections of 360° and 3D images while pointing out interesting sights along the way.
